We’ve come from around the world and somehow we’ve ended up here, in Romania, and now we call it home. We love our lives in Romania — except for maybe when we don’t — because life in this rough gem of Central Europe is full of paradoxes. Somehow, we managed to find the perfect cafe, taco stand, craft beer, or wine bar that reminds of us of our lives abroad. We’ve figured out how to make the perfect pot of chili, grill a phenomenal steak, or bake cookies for the holidays without needing to lug in suitcases full of ingredients. We’ve found the perfect day trip out to a winery, hiking spot, or local non-profit so we can give back. For all of this and more, we would like to share our perspectives on the food, sights, people, and experiences from the capital Bucharest to farthest stretches of the Carpathians, Black Sea coast, Danube river valley, and everything in between.
